1952 Minton England Ancestral S-376 Bone China 48 Piece Dinner Set Service for 8

This is a vintage Minton "Ancestral" S-376 bone china dinnerware set. The Ancestral pattern itself was created in England in 1793, This particular set was produced in 1952, and was my grandmother's wedding china.

There have only been two owners; my grandmother and myself. The pattern exquisitely showcases timeless English elegance - a warm ivory background with deep scarlet pink and teal flowers, and lighter brown vines and leaves. Along with the floral sprays, soft scrollwork, a soft wave-like texture surrounds each plate as well as the teacups. Each piece is surrounded by radiant gold edging.

All 49 pieces (1 extra cup) are in exceptional condition, free of chips, cracks, crazing, or trim wear. The set includes eight complete six-piece place settings: dinner plate, salad plate, dessert plate, bowl, cups and saucers, plus one extra cup. Each piece bears the authentic Minton 1793 England backstamp, an impression showing the production date of 1952, and the appearance of either the artist or production run, or quality assurance method. This beautiful and refined set is ideal for collectors, elegant entertaining, or heirloom display.
