Hammersley Pink Rose Floral Pale Yellow & Gold Demitasse Cup & Saucer C1912-1939

Hammersley Pink Rose Floral Pale Yellow & Gold Demitasse Cup & Saucer C. Decorated with a pale yellow border with hand colored pink roses and other flowers in pink, blue, purple, and yellow framed in gold scrollwork cartouches. Gold gilding along the edge and gold highlights to the handle.

With heavy clouded / sponged gilding along the inside of the lip of the cup. Marked on the bottom Hammersley & Co with a crown and China England in puce.

This mark was used between 1912 and 1939. Registry number RD 150153 in green. Also has the pattern number 12982A in red. Has some crazing typical of bone china, and wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.

The cup measures approximately 3 inches wide including the handle x 1 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
