Rare Adderley Harlequin Demitasse Set 6 Cups Saucers H/520 England C. 1960s

Striking vintage Adderley fine bone china demitasse set featuring six coordinating cup and saucer pairs in different jewel and pastel colorways. The collection includes black, turquoise, red, blue, pale blue and pink, each accented with elaborate interlaced border decoration and rich gold detailing. The coordinated assortment creates a wonderful harlequin presentation and is especially attractive displayed together.

Most pieces bear the same handwritten H/520 or closely related factory/decorator notation, supporting the pieces as coordinating colorways within the same Adderley design. Each is also marked Adderley Fine Bone China England with the crown backstamp. 6 demitasse cups with 6 matching saucers. 2 5/8 in diameter at rim × 2 5/8 in high. Most pieces marked H/520 or a closely related handwritten notation. Five cup and saucer pairs are in very good vintage condition with expected light signs of age and use, including some wear to the gold decoration. The pink cup has a hairline crack extending down from the rim, as clearly pictured, and should be considered for display rather than beverage use.
