The beautiful floral pattern was developed by Brownfield. Brownfields were potters in Cobridge, North Staffordshire from about 1837 to the 1890s.
English transferware by Royal Doulton refers to pottery, typically dinnerware, decorated with patterns that are transferred onto the ceramic surface using a printing method. Condition: The set is in very good condition. It was not often used and hand washed.
Many pieces look like they have never been used. Some pieces may have microscopic marks from utensils.
