Tea Cup height excluding handle: 7cms (2 3/4 ins). Saucer diameter: 13.5cms (5 3/8 ins). Tea Plate diameter: 15cms (6 ins). Cake Plate diameter: 24cms (9 1/2" ins) x 22cms (8 5/8" ins). Milk Jug length handle to spout: 13cms (5 ins). Milk Jug Height: 9cms (3 1/2 ins). Sugar Bowl diameter: 12cms (4 3/4 ins). Sugar Bowl Height: 6.5cms (2 5/8 ins). Art Deco tea set was produced by esteemed and widely recognised English china company Royal Doulton circa 1930s. The set is decorated with the Scottish'Glamis Thistle' pattern and gold gilding with green trims embellish all the items.

The pattern repeats on the reverse and interior of the cup and sugar bowl. All pieces are signed by P. (Percy) Curnock, a well respected Royal Doulton artist. Glamis Thistle found near Glamis Castle, home of the Queen Mother. We are also including FREE, an EPNS tea strainer as a bonus.

This Art Deco tea set is a great vintage find... See below for a wee bit of history! The items are in generally excellent vintage condition commensurate for age. No crazing, chips, fractures, major discolouration or other damage. Some normal age related wear, perhaps the tiniest dark spot/light scratches which are quite minor.
