Set Of 8 - Vintage Royal Doulton Glamis Thistle Dinner Plates 10 5/8 H4601 EUC. Each plate is signed by P. Purple thistle, green leaves & gold trim. This original design was registered in 1838. This was the first piece of Royal Doulton China that was actually signed by the original artist.

Excellent used condition - no chips, cracks, scratches or crazing. Some very minor (hard to see) utensil marks. Gold trim is all intact - no obvious wear.

This is a discontinued pattern - pattern was made between 1937 and 1961. Made in England Glamis castle is where Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother spent her childhood. I have a number of different pieces in this pattern.
