Shelley Fine Bone China Dainty Floral England 1932 RARE Flower Handle Trio

This is a trio that incluces a cup and saucer and a dessert size plate of Shelley Fine Bone China in pattern number 11993/9. It is the dainty shape. It was first made in May of 1932. According to The Shelley Style A Collectors Guide by Susan Hill, The floral handle was introduced in 1932. You do not see it very often. This is the dainty shape with scalloped edges. The backstamp on these items was only used between 1925 and 1945.

This is truly fine bone china from England. When I look at pieces of fine bone china, I run my fingers around the edges and on the surface to see if I feel anything that my eyes did not see.

There are no chips, cracks, dings or crazing on these pieces that I see or feel. Shelley calls this color Apple Green. Please see all the photos. This is standard teacup size. This will be well packed to assure immediate enjoyment.
