Vintage Royal Crown Derby China 5 pc. Place Setting Vine Pristine
The sale is for 1 5-pc place setting. Every single piece in this collection is in mint condition, as can be seen from the photos, so if you order more than one place setting you know all will be perfect. They are simply all in pristine condition. The pattern, Vine, has been retired, so are not unavailable in stores.
It is an elegant pattern of a soft white with gold edging. Vine pattern great for pairing with red or white wine!!
I got them from the original owner, a woman who received them as a wedding present in 1965. She took excellent care of them and stored them all in china storage cases when they weren't in use. She provided me with the original cases, including the foam inserts (see pics). She had each case marked with the items inside. After I received the dishes, the woman contacted me to tell me that I shouldn't put them in the dishwasher. In other words she took very good care of these. And wanted to make sure that they continue to be cared for. There is NO wear to the gold on the dishes, no chips, cracks, nothing. Back is stamped and each item initialed, with different initial. They sincerely look brand new. They should not be put in the dishwasher. More pics are available upon request.
