The plates were commissioned by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology originally in a series of 12 featuring prominent buildings from the campus. The plates each feature a different engraving taken from a drawing by "Samuel Chamberlain'18" and bear the "ENGRAVED BY THE WEDGWOOD STUDIOS" mark.

The lot of (9) includes the following plates; "Dupont Court, " "Rogers Building, " "Walker Memorial, " "Building Ten, " "Sloan Building, " "Walker Memorial, " "President's House, " "Charles Hayden Memorial Library, " and Baker House. The plates measure 10 in diameter. ALL NINE are in excellent condition with no damage or noted surface wear (they appear unused and gently stored).
